| 2012 / 13 rates for Working Directors & Self-Employed Contractors Announced |

Upon the advice of the Actuary, the Board has reviewed the interest rate and contribution amount for the working director and self employed contractor's voluntary scheme. Effective from the July/August 2012 return period, The 2 monthly contribution amount will be $200. The interest rate payable on these contributions has been set at 3.5% for the 2012/2013 financial year. Contribution rates are reviewed annually to ensure the real rate of contributions is maintained over time, thus ensuring you will receive comparable remuneration when you take long service leave. |
