On 31st May 2010, Board member Bob Geraghty passed away after a short illness.
Bob was SA Branch Secretary of the Electrical Division of the CEPU. He was first appointed to the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Board originally as a deputy member in November 2002 and later as a member in May 2005.
Prior to joining the Board, Bob was a member of a working party that was instrumental in extending scheme coverage to workers in the electrical and metal trades industries.
Bob’s commitment to his role in representing the interests of workers is acknowledged and appreciated.
He will be sadly missed but remembered for his contribution to the success of this scheme.
